With 23 degrees.io all your charts and maps can be updated automatically. Meaning if there are changes or updates in your dataset it will instantly be depicted in the charts or maps linked to the dataset.
How do I create a live map or chart?
Creating live maps or charts does not differ from creating a static visualization.
All you have to do is upload a data file, save your data and create a new visualization from your data table by click “continue to visual” at the bottom right of the data table view.
As soon as your visualization is ready for you to save to a collection, simply switch the “Update options” from “Static” to “Live” before saving the chart or map.
Once you saved your live chart or live map to a collection you will notice a red rectangle at the bottom right: “live”.
This means your chart is now live and your readers will never miss a data update.
If you’re using a chart or map from someone else that has been shared with you or that you found on our platform, simply do the same thing. Whenever the owner of the data set updates his data table you will instantly see the new data in you charts and maps.
You can identify live maps and charts by the red “live” icon.
IMPORTANT !
You can not save someone else’s data table as a live data set. Since saving it to your workspace (i.e. collection) will create a copy of the data that is not connected to the original data. You can however create a new live visualization from someone else’s data table that has been shared with you by clicking “continue to visual” and then saving the visualization to your collection.

Mit 23degrees.io können alle Diagramme und Karten automatisch aktualisiert werden.
Das heißt, wenn Änderungen oder Aktualisierungen in eurem Datensatz vorhanden sind, werden diese automatisch in den mit dem Datensatz verknüpften Diagrammen oder Karten angezeigt.
Wie erstelle ich eine Live-Karte oder ein Live-Diagramm?
Das Erstellen von Live-Karten oder -Diagrammen unterscheidet sich nicht vom Erstellen statischer Visualisierungen.
Ihr müssen lediglich eine Datei hochladen, speichern und eine neue Visualisierung erstellen, indem ihr unten rechts auf “Continue to Visual” klickt.
Sobald euer Diagramm so weit ist, dass es in einer Collection gespeichert werden kann, wechselt im Bereich “Update options” einfach von “Static” zu “Live”, damit in eurer Visualisierung immer die neuesten Daten angezeigt werden.
Sobald das passiert ist, werdet ihr ein rotes Rechteck mit “live” am unteren Rand der Visualisierung bemerken.
Das bedeutet, dass eure Visualisierung jetzt live ist und eure Leser keine Datenaktualisierungen mehr verpassen werden.
Wenn ihr ein Diagramm oder eine Karte von einer anderen Person verwendet, die mit euch geteilt wurde oder die ihr auf unserer Plattform gefunden habt, dann macht einfach genau dasselbe. Immer wenn der Eigentümer des Datensatzes seine Datentabelle aktualisiert, werden die neuen Daten sofort in euren Diagrammen und Karten angezeigt.
WICHTIG!
Ihr könnt den Datensatz einer anderen Person nicht als Live-Datensatz speichern. Beim Speichern in euren Arbeitsbereich (d. h. in eure Collection) wird eine Kopie der Daten erstellt. Dadurch ist dieser Datensatz nicht mehr mit den Originaldaten verbunden. Ihr könnt jedoch eine neue Live-Visualisierung aus dem Datensatz einer anderen Person erstellen, wenn dieser mit euch geteilt wurde. Dafür müsst ihr einfach auf “Continue to Visual” klicken und die Visualisierung dann in eurer Collection speichern.
